Have your Windows System CD or diskettes available, in the event you are prompted for them.

Install TCP/IP for Dialup Adapter

Extra Note: There should only be one TCP/IP item per communications adapter in Network Control Panel. For instance, if you have only a modem in your computer, and do not have a network (Ethernet) card, there should be a total of one TCP/IP item in Network Control Panel. If you have both a modem and a network card in your computer, there should be a total of two: one TCP/IP item for the modem ("TCP/IP -> Dialup Adapter"), and one for the network card ("TCP/IP -> [network card name]"). (America On-Line users may also see an item called TCP/IP-> AOL Adapter.) Having more than one TCP/IP item per communications adapter causes difficulties connecting to the Internet.
